Last Of Eden’s music strives to capture and reflect triumph, heroism, anguish, and struggle throughout society. Not as a political statement, but as a mirror held up to humanity. By weaving speech and video into their live performances, they create a cinematic experience of popular culture and a reflection of our times.
PROG Magazine-acclaimed young Halifax (UK) post-rockers L.O.E (Last Of Eden) released their debut album, The World & Everything In It, on June 9, 2023, to critical acclaim. Genre staples such as WherePostRockDwells, The Post Rock Community, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, Visions Magazine (DE), and PROG Magazine praised the album. Their music video for the single Lament was voted #1 in PROG Magazine’s “Track of the Week” and made multiple appearances in the print edition, including the AOTY lists, a full live review of their album launch show, and an announcement of their February 2023 tour dates.
They have been working tirelessly to bring their monstrous sound to stages across the UK and Europe, joining post-rock standouts and genre titans such as Sleepmakeswaves, Hubris, PG Lost, A Burial At Sea, Oh Hiroshima, Alex Henry Foster & The Long Shadows, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Din Of Celestial Birds, and more. Following a successful UK tour, the band was invited to perform in Europe for the first time, gracing the main stage of the alternative music staple festival, Post In Paris. Their performance received rapturous praise as one of the most talked-about debut appearances at the 2024 festival.
