Alex Henry Foster’s initiative in support of Ukraine echoes on a global scale

Last April, Alex Henry Foster & his band The Long Shadows invited everyone for what became their first direct-to-vinyl live broadcast from Alex’s home in Virginia. Amongst the songs they played, “All the Violence in the World” has also been made into a lathe-cut LP, limited to 150 copies. All the proceeds from the sales have been given to Music Saves UA in order to help the Ukrainian people’s most urgent needs.

On the occasion of the International Day of Peace on September 21, Alex announced that $5,000 had been donated to the organization. The “All The Violence in the World” campaign and donations resonated worldwide. Thanks to Visions Magazine in Germany, FYI Music News in Canada, Culture à coeur in the band’s hometown, and more for spreading the news.
