Following 2 gigs at the notorious Rough Trades in Bristol & Nottingham and a headlining date at the Trades Club in Hebden Bridge, L.O.E (Last of Eden) are releasing You Can’t Keep A Good Man Down, a new single off their Sunset Silhouette EP
You Can’t Keep A Good Man Down is a story of triumph and courage. It speaks of standing up and being counted. It is a march towards glory. Our minds can be a very desolate landscape. Painting pictures of battlefields, littered with versions of ourselves that we’ve lost to our own monologue of doubt and self-destruction. The song builds the strength and determination to find that power within us, and to be at peace with who we are. To carry on, to pick ourselves up and to continue to put one foot in front of the other.
It also features an unknown speaker reciting Rudyard Kiplings, ‘If’, as a triumphant reminder that we shall not be defeated and we shall continue forward into greatness again.
