Garnering considerable praise with their second single I Was Not Magnificent—which reached #1 in Prog Magazine’s “Tracks of the Week” and was featured by WherePostRockDwells and the Post-Rock Community—L.O.E (Last of Eden) release their new I Was Not Magnificent EP today via Hopeful Tragedy Records and announce a special live session on May 31 at 19:00 UK time.
The Halifax quartet quickly sold out their collector vinyls within days of release. While CDs are still available, only those fast enough managed to get their hands on the vinyl edition. This EP isn’t just a collection of songs—it’s a deeply personal reflection of the struggles and triumphs that have shaped Last of Eden in recent years.
At the heart of the EP are two poignant tracks, accompanied by an instrumental version that allows listeners to connect on an even deeper level—inviting them to make the music their own. Together, they explore the healing power of music, the vulnerability of confronting personal challenges, and the relentless pursuit of hope amid adversity.
