Musically, the song is a Pop Rock and Funk track driven by edgy basslines, yet light and groovy drum beats, verses in the vein of Tame Impala with a catchy chorus that brings Damon Albarn’s vocals with Gorillaz to mind and instrumentation reminiscent of Beats Antique.
