Raj Ramayya Releases EP “Love Thy Brown Brother” & New Music Video

Finishing the sold-out California leg of the Cowboy Bebop Tour today, Canadian-Indian songwriter and producer Raj Ramayya unveils a new music video for the song 1000 Years from his EP Love Thy Brown Brother, released today under Hopeful Tragedy Records.

The Love Thy Brown Brother EP is Raj Ramayya’s tribute to 20 years of his brother’s masterpiece body of work and Gemini Award-winning documentary, Cosmic Current.

The EP draws from this rich legacy—a collection of select tracks released internationally for the first time to commemorate 20 years of the film’s soundtrack, which was originally released only in Japan under Dynastic Records. The Love Thy Brown Brother EP blends ancestral reverence with a modern sound through revisited versions of select songs. It’s a tribute to all that Ray and Jaya built and a celebration of lives shaped by love, art, and the power of home. Through this EP, listeners are invited into a deeply personal soundscape—an homage to the timeless ties that bind us, from India to Canada and beyond.
