Currently back in studio for an upcoming album, Canadian-Indian songwriter and producer Raj Ramayya announces his new single, Man From Hindustan. The track arrives ahead of his upcoming EP, The Journey, due out on July 4 — a heartfelt collection of songs that serves as a moving tribute to his late father, Dr. Ray Ramayya.
Man From Hindustan is a hypnotic fusion of reggae rhythms, Indian classical elements, and modern electronica, creating a mesmerizing sonic experience. Featuring soaring psychedelic sitars and deep, bass-driven grooves, the track transports listeners into a dreamlike landscape infused with vibrant Eastern and Caribbean influences. The lyrics evoke mystical imagery, including six sacred sadhus on a jasmine-scented night, encapsulating the spiritual and cultural depth of the composition.
